What Better Time to Learn Discernment than in the Misinformation Age?

According to my Gene Keys, I’m here to transform the shadow of discord into the siddhi of empathy through the gift of discernment. I’ve often felt torn between different parts of me (head, heart, body) wanting different things and to go in different directions and I’ve been learning to mediate opposing forces (and risk feeling like I’m abandoning a part of my self by pushing forward without the full support of my system).

It dawned on me this morning, what if the current misinformation age, is teaching us the same thing? What better way to learn discernment than when faced with multiple versions of reality, each claiming to be Truth?

The same goes for diplomacy. As the balance of power shifts from government and centralized organizations to communities and individuals, the ability to work together is more important than ever. What better time to practice seeing opposing points of view and finding a way forward than when our egos are polarized?

There’s always a way of looking at our circumstances that make them seem like a gift instead of a curse.

Want to learn equanimity? Incarnate with a mind prone to hyper-vigilance and swinging between extremes. Your Soul lesson is self-validation? Try living with a family wh values different things than you.

Struggling to find the meaning in your current situation?

Ask, if your life right now was the training ground for a particular quality or virtue, what would it be?
