Do you know where you’re going? Try remembering where you’ve been.
I noticed a pattern of craving recognition and approval creeping in again recently. I was in a loop of "one more rep" always going a little bit further, hoping I'd be met, seen and congratulated. Which is fine, but it's also not operating completely from fullness, which is my favorite place to operate from.
I did a forty-minute self-recognition practice this morning. (Oof! Even those words set delight aflame in my heart). I went back through time and asked my Self to remind me where I've been.
Taking time for self-validation means I can move forward with precision.
Instead of wasting time seeking approval (in places I've already been acknowledged) I can step in and guide, instead of other women's magic triggering inadequacy, I can see them a mirrors of my magnificence and instead of abandoning what I already know in favor of more, I can access and utilize the knowledge, wisdom and skills I already have.
BIG SIGH
